Dan Johnson is a seasoned entrepreneur and the visionary founder of Peak Performance VA, a premier provider of virtual assistant services tailored specifically for dental and healthcare practices. With over three decades of leadership experience spanning the restaurant, healthcare, and marketing sectors, Dan brings a unique, cross-industry perspective to operational growth and team development.

For 15 years, Dan successfully owned and operated multiple KFC franchises, where he mastered the art of operational efficiency, scalable systems, and team leadership. Transitioning into the dental industry over a decade ago, he played a pivotal role in the expansion of Acre Wood Dental, transforming it from a small four-operatory office into a multi-location practice serving Central Texas.

Recognizing the critical role of strategic marketing in practice growth, Dan went on to build Lucent Spot, a dental marketing agency focused on brand visibility, patient acquisition, and retention strategies. Through these ventures, he saw firsthand how the right support team can determine a practice’s long-term success.

This insight laid the foundation for Peak Performance VA—a company built on the belief that every healthcare practice deserves highly trained, reliable virtual assistants who function as true extensions of their in-office team. Under Dan’s leadership, Peak Performance VA combines operational expertise, industry knowledge, and a client-first philosophy to help practices reduce overhead, increase efficiency, and scale with confidence.

Dr. Chad Latino

Dr. Chad Latino brings his passion for excellence, lifelong learning, and commitment to service into every venture he touches—including as co-owner of Peak Performance VA. With a career rooted in high-quality, patient-centered dentistry, Dr. Latino has built a reputation for combining advanced technology with compassionate care at his Waco-based dental practice. He now channels that same drive into helping dental offices nationwide streamline operations and increase profitability through Peak Performance VA’s elite virtual assistant services.

A proud native Texan, Dr. Latino earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. Known for his warm, no-lecture approach and dedication to treating patients like family, Dr. Latino has transformed countless smiles and dental experiences. His commitment to continual growth is evident in the nearly 100 hours of continuing education he completes annually—far exceeding state requirements—and includes advanced training through institutions like Orognathic Bioesthetics International, Cabodent, and the Atlanta Center for Restorative Dentistry. He has also studied under industry legend Bill Blatchford.

At Peak Performance VA, Dr. Latino leverages his deep understanding of the challenges dental offices face to ensure each virtual assistant is expertly trained, professional, and aligned with the needs of modern dental practices. Outside of work, Dr. Latino is a devoted husband to his best friend, Shawnna, and a proud father to Bailee, Aidan, and Tristan. Whether at the office or at home, Dr. Latino believes in doing everything with integrity, purpose, and heart.
